SUPPORT - DOMESTIC ABUSE
Domestic abuse can take many forms. It isn't just physical violence, it is any form of abuse of power within the domestic setting. Domestic abuse includes psychological or emotional abuse, financial abuse, sexual violence, harassment, online abuse or coercive control. Traditionally women are the victims in domestic abuse, but it is not unknown for men to be victims.
Whatever the form of abuse, by whatever party, it is not acceptable.
If you are in immediate danger, call 999. If after calling 999 you cannot speak, press 55. This will transfer your call to the relevant police force who will assist you without you having to speak.
