Who is Coordinating Local Support?
Central Government has delegated local support in our area to South Norfolk Council. South Norfolk Council is working with the Parish Council and other village groups to identify vulnerable people who may need help, and local groups who can help with support. South Norfolk Council can then coordinate resources to where it is needed. They also have their own trained and vetted volunteers to assist local people. Our local coordinators are Jake Kubala and Andrea Owen. They can be reached at 01508 533826 or [email protected]
5+ Good Neighbours Scheme
Poringland is very privileged to be covered by the 5+ Good Neighbours scheme, a valuable service to uses local volunteers to improve the lives and wellbeing of local people. You can volunteer directly with the 5+ Good Neighbours Scheme by contacting David on 07934 195724 or emailing [email protected]
