Progress Update: April 2016

26/4/2016

Shotesham Road – Due to be complete under 2 way lights; finish date 06th May.  Difficulties with access, existing services and concrete in the road make up has meant progress was slower than we anticipated.
Caistor Lane – 600m left to complete, retuning at the end of the scheme 2017.  The work in Caistor Lane ran over due to incorporating the waste water, footpath improvement and developer connections.  Other work in the area which will be using Caistor Lane as a diversion route means we will have to return to complete this section at the end of the scheme.
Arminghall Lane – Last section of slip-lining and services transfers to be completed under 2 way lights.  Start date 03rd May; duration 3 weeks.
B1332 – Main work in Bungay Road / The Street / Norwich Road; start date 23rd May.  We will be starting at the south end of the village but will move up to the High School for the summer holidays in an effort to reduce congestion at this point.
Markshall Lane – Expected to start in September, the date will be confirmed following discussions with the farmer who currently requires twice daily access across the bridge.
