W/C 23 October 2017
•    Our work outside Framingham Earl High School was completed on Thursday 26 October 2017.
•    We completed the connection to the 3” main in Pigot Lane on Monday 23rd October and backfilled and reinstated the excavation near to the Railway Tavern.
•    As the team finished ahead of schedule outside the school, there will be no work taking place over the weekend, in agreement with the Highways Authority.

W/C 30 October 2017
•    On Monday we will begin the final section of work, on the Street. We will be working southwardly from just past Elvins Garage until we reach the Budgens roundabout.
•    We expect to complete the first section of connections, in both sides of the road, by the end of next week.
•    Our site supervisor is speaking to Elvins Garage about when we will work on their connection as this is more complicated than first expected and will therefore be carried out at a later date, probably on a Sunday, in agreement with the owner.

W/C 16 October 2017
•    We completed the reinstatement of the second half road crossing outside Willow Gallery on Monday morning.
•    We completed the short-side connection to Beechcroft, reinstated and removed the lights Monday evening- our site manager stayed on site with the traffic management engineer throughout the evening peak period, doing all they could to keep the traffic flowing but reported long tail backs at these lights due to their proximity to the roundabout. We are very sorry for the disruption to road users.
•    We also completed the Clearview Drive connection in the verge.
•    The road remained clear of traffic lights from Tuesday until this morning and we updated the electronic signage to let road users know of this- image attached.
•    Tuesday- Thursday we worked in Pigot Lane, whilst we completed the connection to the 5” main. The team completed the service transfer to the Railway Tavern outside opening hours to minimise disruption.
•    Today, we have started work outside Framingham Earl High School.

W/C 23 October 2017
•    We will be working outside Framingham Earl High School until the section is complete, which will be by EOD Sunday 29 October at the latest.
•    There will also be some work to complete a connection to the 3” main in Pigot Lane on Monday 23rd October and then we will be able to backfill and reinstate the excavation which has remained open near to the Railway Tavern.

•    We completed both sides of the road at Greenacres drives and Oakcroft Drive on Wednesday.
•    On Thursday we moved to the final section this side of the roundabout, spanning Clearview Drive and moled the pipe 60m up the footpath to no. 1 Norwich Road and laid the connection pipe into clearview drive.
•    Today, we are moving to install the lights outside Willow Gallery, Octagon Barns, to complete the connections of that property. We need to cross the full width of the road and expect to complete one half today and the other half on Sunday.
•    We will be working both Saturday and Sunday.

W/C 16 October 2017

•    Monday morning, we expect to complete the reinstatement of the second half road crossing outside Willow Gallery first thing and have the lights removed at approx. 10am.
•    The lights will then be reinstalled opposite Clearview Drive to complete the short-side connection to Beechcroft, we will reinstate and remove the lights from Clearview Drive Monday evening if all goes well. We will also complete the Clearview Drive connection in the verge.
•    Tuesday – four members of the team are on an essential training course so there will be two men preparing the connection beside the Railway Tavern - there will not be any traffic management in place on this day.
•    Wednesday and Thursday we will continue working in Pigot Lane, whilst we complete the connection. There will also be some further work to complete here on Monday 23rd October and then we will be able to backfill and reinstate the excavation which has remained open near to the Railway Tavern.
•    Friday, we will start work outside Framingham Earl High School which will continue throughout the October half term.

The program of work is continually being reviewed and revised to allow for maximum efficiency and to avoid any delays in progress. The team are currently on track to complete the connections before Christmas as planned

•    We completed the second section, between the speed camera and just past Highgrove Court junction.
•    We have also completed the section spanning the Oaklands junction.
•    We are now moving on to the section which spans Greenacres Drive and Oakcroft Drive.
•    We will be working Saturday this week- we will continue working every other Sunday moving forward.

W/C 09 October 2017
•    We are hoping to complete both sides of the road at Greenacres drives and Oakcroft Drive by the end of the week.
•    Once both sections are complete, we will then be moving to the final section this side of the roundabout, spanning Clearview Drive.
•    To minimise disruption at the roundabout, the lighthead will be placed just past Clearview Drive and we will connect no 1 Norwich road from the service in Clearview Drive rather than from the main in Norwich Road. This allows us to run that properties connection through the verge at the side of the footpath rather than in the road.
•    We will be working both Saturday and Sunday.

Anglian Water Update 03.10.2017

W/C 25 September 2017

•    We encountered a problem at Caistor Lane with completing the de-commissioning of the old pipe as the valve we needed to shut off was completely stuck and this has meant that we have not been able to complete the disconnection. If we had continued to try to get this resolved under the current traffic management on Caistor Lane, it could have taken up to a week and our teams would not have been able to progress with any other works so we made the decision to abandon this for now and return at a later date.
•    This did cause a slight delay, however, the reinstatement of this section was completed on Wednesday 27 September and we moved on to the next section under two way lights (from just past the speed camera to just past highgrove court junction).
•    We worked 7 days for the first time on this scheme and we put an update out on Social media on Friday morning to share this information with the public. Unfortunately it did not receive many positive comments but we hope that it did at least help to spread the message and show that we care about keeping our customers updated.

W/C 02 October 2017

•    We have completed the work in the new section on one side of the road and are swapping the lights over to the opposite side of the road, between the speed camera and just past Highgrove Court junction, today.
•    We are hoping to complete this section and move further toward the roundabout, with the next section spanning the Oaklands junction, by the end of the week
•    On Wednesday 04 October 2017, there will not be any activity on site due to the team participating in a Health and Safety stand down event. This event is held as part of our on-going commitment to the health, safety and wellbeing of everyone working in the @one Alliance. We will ensure that the site is left in a safe condition and normal working hours will resume on Thursday 05 October 2017.
•    We will be working Saturday this week- we will continue working every other Sunday moving forward.
